Royal Thailand Government Scholarships for Asian Countries

Royal Thai Government (RTG) offers scholarships for applicants from Asian countries to study their master’s degree or PhD at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand.

Applicants having excellent academic qualifications can apply to this scholarship to study and do research activities at AIT.

 

His Majesty the King’s Scholarship

This scholarship is offered to applicants who have excellent bachelor’s and master’s degree to pursue their PhD at any academic discipline offered in the following schools:

·         School of Engineering and Technology (SET)

·         School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD)

Scholarship benefits:

·         Tuition fee

·         Registration

·         Accommodation

·         Scholarship for living expenses

Who can apply?

Applicants from Bhutan, Timor-Leste, ASEAN Countries and other Asian Countries who meet the following criteria can apply:

·         Have at least an excellent four-year bachelor’s degree with a cGPA of 2.75 from a university under rank 1000 world university ranking or QS TOP 350 Asian universities or 3.0 from other institutions

·         Have a cGPA of 3.5+ for master degree

·         Have two letters of recommendation

·         Research proposal

·         Be proficient in English as required by AIT

 

King’s Scholarship for Master degree

Applicants with excellent bachelor degree from an Asian country can apply to this scholarship to pursue their master degree in one of the programs offered at the following schools:

·         School of Engineering and Technology (SET)

·         School of Management (SOM)

 

Queen’s Scholarships for Master’s degree

Applicants with excellent bachelor degree from an Asian country can apply to this scholarship to pursue their master degree in one of the programs offered at the following schools:

School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD)
