Brief Description:

The Russian Federation is organizing the fourth Open Doors International Olympiad 2020/21 which is a program under the Russian Scholarship Project offering international students a chance to compete in the Olympiad and win partially funded scholarships to get early admission in a tuition-free program in one of the reputable Russian universities. Depending on the chosen field, the winners of Open Doors receive a chance to enroll in a master’s or Ph.D. degree called masters’ or doctoral track, according to the program.

Eligibility:

•        The competition is open to foreign nationals and stateless persons who have a Bachelor’s degree or will complete a Bachelor degree program in the year of the Olympiad for the Master’s;

•        For the doctoral/Ph.D. Track, having a Master’s or Specialist’s degree in the year of the Olympiad is required.

•        All participants are expected to agree to the provision and processing of personal data to the competition.

•        The official languages of the Olympiad are English and Russian.

•        The teaching languages for master’s and doctoral programs in Russian Institutions are either Russian or English, depending on the university’s rule.

•        The level of proficiency in Russian is identified by the chosen university when admitting the winner or a prizewinner of the Olympiad to the degree program.

•        An applicant admitted to a university can take Russian language preparatory courses if he/she does not have a sufficient level of competency in Russian.

What documents do you need to provide?

•        You can do it by Portfolio filling and preparing your documents and submit them. All research papers, certificates, prizes, and honors that you have ever received are counted for the acceptance. You can include all accomplishments for your Subject of choice in your portfolio to further your chances of success. The portfolio structure for all Subjects and tracks is the same.
