UNESCO Prize for Girls’ and Women’s Education

On International Women’s Day, 8 March 2020, UNESCO announced a call for applications for the 2020 Champions of Girls and Women’s Education Award. Established in 2015, and funded by the People’s Republic of China government, the Prize is presented annually to two laureates and consists of a grant of USD 50,000 each to help them continue their research in the field of girls ‘and female education.
