About OCCD:
Organization for Community
Coordination and Development (OCCD) established and reregistered with the
Ministry of Economy, is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political and
independent organization. The OCCD is an initiation of senior Afghan
staff from other international organizations that have many years of working
experience in Afghanistan. The aim of founders of OCCD is to transfer the
experiences and expertise from several international organizations to an Afghan
organization in order to ensure the sustainability of efforts as well as
provide opportunities for Afghans to use their full potentials in humanitarian and
community development activities.
OCCD’s Vision: Communities and
individuals at the gross root level are so informed and empowered that
effectively influence the implementation and sustainability of development
projects.
OCCD’s Mission: To serve
individuals and families in the communities, build capacities of human
resources & to provide health services in real sense that enable
communities and civilians to have vibrant, advanced, developed and
self-esteemed societies.
Job Description:
Receptionist will be
responsible for a wide range of Administrative related activities and reporting
responsibilities. Receptionist will be working under the direct &
supervision of and report to Admin/HR Manager.
Receptionist has the authority
and the obligation to question and refer the Admin/HR Manager any activity that
does not appear to be in accordance with OCCD policy, guidelines or standards.
The post of assignment is Kabul, Afghanistan.
Major responsibility:
·
Reading & understanding the Administrative
and human resource policy & procedures of the organization.
·
Preparation of Staff Monthly attendance and
report.
·
Notifies Organization personnel of visitor
arrival.
·
Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and
directing them appropriately.
·
Maintains security by following procedures,
monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
·
Maintains security and environmental system.
·
Order front office supplies and keep inventory
of stock
·
Update calendars and schedule meetings
·
perform other clerical receptionist duties
such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
·
Prepare request of material to be purchase by
logistic Department.
·
Any other task assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
·
Bachelor’s or Diploma degree (preferred DBA
and BBA)
·
Working Experience of least 2 years with NGOs
and Governments offices.
·
Proficiency in MS Office
·
Excellent written and verbal communication
skills in English, Pashto & Dari including report writing to Supervisor.
