Korea Government offers 870 Korea Korea scholarships annually for international students to pursue their Associates degree, bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or PhD in Korea. Theses scholarships are fully funded covering all the expenses including tuition fees, accommodation, travel cost and language courses.
Starting date of application: September (undergraduate) February (master and PhD)
Result announcement: January for Undergraduate and June for Master and PhD
Travel to Korea: February and August for undergraduate and graduate studies orderly.

885 Scholarship (185 for bachelor degree and 700 for Master and PhD )
Benefits of KGS Scholarship:
This scholarship laureate will receive the following:
Ø Flight ticket
Ø Resettlement KRW 200,000
Ø Allowance for living expenses KRW 800,000 -900000
Ø Medical insurance: KRW 20,00/month
Ø One year language course quarter expense: KRW 800,000
Ø Tuition fee
Ø Korean Language proficiency award: 100,000KRW
Ø Research cost support
Ø Printing cost allowance
Who can apply to this scholarship?
Ø Have citizenship of a country other than Korea
Ø Be mentally and physically healthy
Ø Be under 25 years of Age for Bachelor and 40 years for Master and PhD.
Ø Finished completed educational steps including three school period (elementray middle and high school
Ø Have obtained over 80 % in last degree obtained
Ø Obtained a bachelor or a master degree (master and PhD applicants ) at the time of arrival in Korea
Ø Not have achieved any previous higher educational degree program (UG, and graduates programs )
Ø Former/Current KGSP scholar can also apply if he/she have obtained 90 percent grades
