About ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF):
ICC YAF is an interactive forum under the aegis of the International Chamber of Commerce. ICC YAF is headed by the Global Coordinating Committee (GCC) and based at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris. The GCC coordinates ICC’s six YAF regional chapters. They are also responsible for selecting the Regional Representatives and overseeing all coordination between the regional chapters. Open to those aged 40 and under, ICC YAF provides a variety of opportunities for individuals to gain knowledge, develop their skills and understand ICC’s arbitral procedure and other dispute resolution services. Throughout the world, we hold a number of educational and social events that give young professionals the chance to discover best practices, discuss topical issues and network with experienced practitioners. Through ICC Young Arbitrators Forum, we are able to better inform, connect and inspire young professionals with interests in dispute resolution. The Upcoming ICC YAF Conference in Kabul will be the third in the line very successful events held before in 2017 and 2018.
Conference Description:
This conference is organized by ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF) and ICC Afghanistan and it is a great platform for exchanging thoughts on Arbitration. The event could be a beacon of hope for young and ambitious future of arbitrators. Further, the panel discussions and the debate session will enable counsels, arbitrators, in house counsels or academics to gain insights from a panel of experienced practitioners, and ask any questions they may have.
Objective:
The objective of the event is to give the participants a better understanding of arbitration. Furthermore, we Strengthen ties among younger members of the international arbitration community and provide opportunities to meet and discuss current issues facing the international arbitration practice.
Who should attend?
This conference is aimed at young arbitration practitioners of approximately 40 years and under: counsel, arbitrators, corporate counsel or academics. The ICC YAF Conference will be an ideal forum for young practitioners to exchange thoughts on international arbitration, and to enrich their network in the region.
