American Association of University Women (AAUW) is provided international fellowship for international women to pursue their Master, Ph.D., or Postdoctoral degree out of their home country or one of the USA institutions. In this case, applicants who have to hold a bachelor’s degree by the fellowship deadline can find an accredited institute to conduct their higher degrees.

Eligibility:

·        Applicants must not have received any fellowship or grants from AAUW previously, and it is not including branch or local awards or community action awards.

·        AAUW or broad members of directors, committees, panels, task forces, and staff, including current interns, cannot apply.

·        International women can apply in all fields of study to this fellowship.

·        Applicants who are applied before and recognized as an unsuccessful can apply again.

·        Must meet the criteria below:

·        Must not be a citizen of the USA or possession of a nonimmigrant visa if residing in the US. Women who are going to be US citizens during the year of fellowship, or US citizen, permanent resident of the US, or dual citizen with the US and other countries could not be part of this fellowship.

·        Obtain an academic degree equivalent to a US bachelor’s degree and completed by 15 November 2020.

·        Willing to devote herself full-time to the proposed academic plan during the fellowship.

·        Committed to come back after completion of the fellowship to pursue a professional career.

·        Have strong English skills and provide English language proficiency, such as ETS TOEFL or equivalent.

·        Applicants must provide a confirmation letter from an accredited institute.

·        If applying for a master’s degree can apply to JD, MFA, LLM, M.Arch. Or medical degree such as MD. DDS, etc.

·        A Ph.D. degree can apply for a Ph.D. or Ed.D.

·        Applicants who are applying for a postdoctoral degree must provide proof, or their doctorate must obtain a doctorate classified as a research degree.

·        A limited number of the fund is available for graduate women international members for study or research other than their home country. Or any US institution branch is also eligible.

·        Applicants can apply for distance learning but could not ask for distance learning.

Required documents:

·        Three recommendation letters from professors or professional colleagues that know you very well.

·        The latest degree certificate and transcript from the college or university. The transcript must contain the list of courses taken and grades received.

·        Provide proof of current enrollment.

·        English language proficiency certificate.

·        Update CV or Resume
