Brief Description:

The World Food Program offers an internship opportunity for applicants who are finished a degree or enrolled at least two years of their undergraduate degree. Moreover, applicants will access to mentorship opportunity. Additionally, according to funds, availability will support the interns with WFP workshops or seminars. Main responsibilities:

·        Helping in the implementation of Zero Waste, Zero Hunger Campaign. Following, which is provided for the awareness of food waste issues and raise funds from private companies.

·        Above all, help to launch and manage private sector partnership of WFP Seoul Office.

·        Besides, must assist in monitoring media release relevant to current private sector partners.

·        Documents preparation for the meeting with partners.

·        Develop new strategies to better secure and steward public-private sector partners and donors by channel.

·        Perform market research, recognize, data analyses, and support others in developing private sector partnerships and recognizing its prospect that could assist in achieving WFP’s strategic objectives.

·        Translate the requested information in Korean or English.

·        Conduct other duties when required.

Eligibility:

·        Completed two years’ undergraduate studies or graduated within the past six months in the following areas:

·        marketing, business administration, political science, international relations, international development or cooperation, economics, public administration, public relations, or related fields.

·        Also, joined a university course in the past 12 months.

·        In addition, strong English or Korean Language skills.

·        Moreover, excellent skills in the computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

·        Finally, experience in fundraising, internship experience is an asset.

Soft-skills requirements:

·        Be able to work within a team.

·        Able to create a plan and manage work effectively.

·        Skills in resourcefulness, action-oriented, maturity, tact, and advocacy.
