Benefits of Scholarship:

·        Monthly stipend

·        The monthly stipend, which covers the expenditures of the internship, may differ from station to station.

·        The interns will have the opportunity to work for the UNDP or the UN system in the future.

·        Nominating institutions or the government may also provide financial assistance to interns.

Eligibility:

·        Candidates from all over the world are welcome to apply.

·        Applicants may be enrolled in a graduate school program, a second university degree, or an equivalent, or they may be in the final year of a first university degree (Bachelor’s level).

·        If candidates are required to have a university diploma, it must be less than one year old at the time of the UNDP internship application.

·        The candidate must be able to communicate well in one of UNDP’s three working languages: English, French, or Spanish.

·        It is advantageous to be fluent in more than one working language.

·        Arabic, Portuguese, Russian, or Eastern European language fluency is a plus.

·        It is also planned to study Eastern European languages.

·        Candidates must show that their work is relevant to UNDP activities.
