Brief Description:
The Gates
Scholarship (TGS) programme for 2022 is now accepting applications. Every
year, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation awards 300 scholarships to study in
the United States. The primary goal of this scholarship is to assist
outstanding minority students from low-income families in realising their full
potential. A last-dollar scholarship can help high-potential; low-income
minority students develop their leadership skills by removing financial
barriers to college.

Eligibility:
Applicants meeting the following
criteria can apply to the Gates Scholarship:

be a high school senior
·
From at least one of the
following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native*,
Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American
·
Be A US Citizen, national
or permanent resident
·
Have a good academic
record with GPA of 3.3 on 4.0 scale
·
Plan to enroll in a
full-time, four-year degree program at an accredited Not for profit, Private or
Public college or university in the US.
