Brief Description:
The Y20 Award is a unique
identifier for both young person and group leaders in G20 countries and beyond,
and is hosted by the Indonesian Y20 2022 Presidency. This award recognises
youth leaders who have consistently worked on initiatives and/or programmes, or
headed foundations and/or organisations, that are relevant to one of four
themes: youth employment, a sustainable and habitable world, digital
transformation, or diversity and inclusion. The application period for these
awards is now open, as shown in the timetable below. You may proceed with the
application registration if you are an engaged youth in one of the
above-mentioned groups.
The prize is split into two
categories, each with its own set of qualifications.

Y20 –
International/National Youth Group award
Both are open for global youth
with different requirements listed in the Requirement section below.

A living allowance of GBP 17,633 will be provided as a tax-free
stipend.

Eligibility:
·
Be citizens of, and
residents of, Sub-Saharan African countries; and desire to return to
Sub-Saharan Africa after their MSc year at LSHTM.
·
Submit the Supplementary
Questions Form to confirm that they would not be able to pay for the proposed
program of study.
·
Meet the minimum English
language criteria of LSHTM. (IELTS, Cambridge Academic, PTE)
·
Possess a first-class or
upper-second-class equivalence first-degree.
·
Hold an offer of admission
to one of LSHTM’s 19 London-based MSc programs for the academic year 2022-23.

How to Apply?
·
There are two steps to the
application process.
Step 1: Apply for a London-based MSc program of
study in 2022-23 using the guidelines found under the ‘How to Apply’ option on
the relevant program of study website.
Step 2: Fill out an online scholarship
application and choose this scholarship from the drop-down menu. As
part of this application, you must provide a completed Supplementary
Questions Form for this scholarship.
