Brief Description:
Applications are now open for the
UniBo Action1&2 TOLC- international students registering for first and
single-cycle degree programs offered by the University of Bologna, Italy.
The university has designed 3 grants and tuition fees allowances to encourage
international students to enroll in its degree programs. so, the program
requires students to have TOLC scores for admission. Students from EU and
Non-EU nations who are interested in pursuing a degree in Italy can apply for
this call.

Benefits of Scholarship:
The
university has designed the following benefits and has termed them (Action 1
&2):

3 study grants that amount
to €11.059 each (Unibo Action 2)
·
Full tuition fee waivers
for a total amount of €20.000 (Unibo Action 1).
·
Note: these benefits
cannot be granted to students who register in multiple or joint programs for
which the fees have to be paid to a partner university other than UniBo. In
addition, the benefits are provided only if students have earned their
qualifications before registering at the university.
Eligibility:
Applicants
fulfilling the following criteria are eligible to apply:
·
Have obtained a degree
issued by a foreign higher education institution other than an Italian one
necessary for admission to the selected First and Single-cycle degree program.
·
Or, have completed a
degree at an Italian institute outside of Italy after at least two years of
attendance.
·
If the educational record
is a one-year diploma, the prior education will also be considered.
·
The applicants can apply
regardless of their nationality;
·
Meet the admission
conditions for the degree program of choice or will satisfy such requirements
at the time of registration for the given academic year;
·
Are not current students
of any First, Single or Second Cycle degree programs at the University of
Bologna.
·
Have not already obtained
the Unibo Action 2 study grant or the Unibo Action 1 waiver;
·
Are not 30 years or higher
as of the deadline of this publication.
Required documents
Applicants
must submit the following documents with their application:
·
a copy of their currently
valid passport;
·
TOLC scores (“TOLC Results
Certificate”), available in the personal area on the website cisiaonline.it. The
Result Certificate must include the applicant’s personal data, the type of TOLC
taken, the score achieved, the identification number and the date of the TOLC.
·
A diploma and/or
certificate confirming the qualification necessary for admission to the chosen
degree program, or school report cards of the last two years.
·
Students who have not
completed a qualification by the application time may provide a certificate of
registration and school report cards of the previous school year.
Note1: All documents presented by applicants must be in
English, Italian, French or Spanish. In case they are in other languages, they
must be translated into one of the above 4 languages.
Note2: All information on the field must be properly filled, and
the required documents must be submitted.

Grants and waivers awarding criteria
These
study grants and waivers are granted as per the TOLC (Test On
Line CISIA) _ a type of online knowledge evaluation test.
·
Total scores will be
considered except for tests taken in Italy.
·
Tests’ date should not be
earlier than 01 February 2018, otherwise, they won’t be acceptable.
The minimum scores required

The following TOLC tests are accepted:
·
TOLC-I, TOLC-F, TOLC-S,
TOLC-B, TOLC-SU, TOLCAV, TOLC-E, English TOLC-I, English TOLC-F, English
TOLC-E.
·
The TOLC-E and English
TOLC-E comprise of 36 questions (maximum score is 36), while the other TOLC
tests consist of 50 questions (maximum score is 50).
