Danish Government Scholarships 2021/22 for Non-EU/EEA Countries at the University of Copenhagen

Brief Description:

Through the Danish Government Scholarship, the University of Copenhagen (UCPH) offers a few tuition waivers or study grants to study for a master’s degree in a world-class university in Denmark for the academic year 2021-22.

The scholarships are given to outstanding students from non-EU/EEA countries who are automatically considered for the scholarship if they are accepted into the programmes.

Benefits of Scholarship:

The Danish Government Scholarship is awarded either as full or partial tuition fees and/or as an amount that covers basic living expenses.

 

Eligibility:

In order to qualify for a scholarship, an applicant must:

·        Be a national of a country outside the EU, EEA (the European Economic Area) or Switzerland

·        Have secured admission to a master’s degree program at the University of Copenhagen

·        Be granted a time-bound residence permit allowing to pursue a higher education program in Denmark

·        Have an excellent academic record

·        Hold, at minimum, a pertinent and recognized university degree corresponding  in level and content to a Danish Bachelor’s degree

Scholarship awarding procedure/mechanism

·        Applicants do not need to apply for these scholarships rather than should apply for a chosen MA/MSc program at the university. And, if they are eligible for the program academically, they will automatically be considered for a scholarship.

·        The university will contact the nominated candidates through the email they provide in their admission application. Then, the nominees have to accept or reject the scholarship offer within the deadline mentioned in the email therefore they should regularly check their email.
