Applicants who wish to pursue a
master’s degree in infrastructure planning (MIP) in Germany may apply for a
DAAD scholarship. This scholarship totally covers all costs and is fully
supported.
Candidates with a focus on civil
engineering, architecture, and urban planning are welcome to apply, as are
graduates from allied academic disciplines who wish to study infrastructure
planning.
Four semesters make up the
two-year, research-focused Master of Infrastructure Planning (MIP) program,
which includes the following courses: To broaden students’ professional
perspectives, some fundamental mandatory modules are taught in the first
semester, and the advanced students are given a variety of electives in the
second semester. A thorough case study on the complicated issues of
infrastructure planning and the difficulties of teamwork is covered in the
third semester, along with extra electives, and it provides training in the
strategies and tactics used successfully in Germany. Students write their
Master’s thesis during the fourth semester, which focuses on how to approach a
project or challenge specific to their home nation.
