Master’s Scholarship at Karolinska Institute in Sweden

Brief Description:

Outstanding students admitted into one of our Global Master’s Programs commencing in the Autumn semester are eligible for a limited number of tuition fee scholarships from Karolinska Institute. The amount of scholarships offered fluctuates from year to year, however all Global Master’s Programs have a maximum of 10 scholarships available each year. Competition for the scholarship is strong, with roughly 1500 international students applying each year.

Karolinska Institute is one of the best medical schools in the world. Our mission is to promote life knowledge and improve everyone’s health. KI is Sweden’s largest single centre of medical academic research and offers the country’s most complete range of medical courses and programmes. Since 1901, the Nobel Laureates in Physiology or Medicine have been decided by the Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institute.

Benefits of Scholarship:

·        Only the tuition fee is covered by the scholarship (or part of the tuition fee for programs only partially given by Karolinska Institute)

 

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the KI Global Master’s Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

·        Have applied to one of Karolinska Institutes Global Master’s Programs beginning in 2022

·        Be a tuition-paying student (from outside the EU/EEA); have paid the application fee by 1 February 2022

·        Meet the entry and documentation requirements for the program for which you have applied.

 

Required documents

·        Official Certificates, and diplomas of your completed degree

·        Official transcripts of completed courses and grades for each semester

·        Internationally approved English test scores.

Note: All of your documents must be translated in English or Sweden
