Brief Description:
The Core Initiative, which
provides residency to those who may affect and contribute ground-breaking
experiments, interdisciplinary methods, and research in the Arts and
Humanities, is the flagship program of the Camargo Foundation. Every year, the
program receives over 1000 applications, with just 18 (individuals/teams) being
chosen to become fellows and receive residency in a serene and beautiful
setting. The fellows will be able to think, create, and engage with one
another. Participants can submit applications as artists, thinkers, or
scholars, depending on their abilities and knowledge.

Selection criteria:
Proposal Quality

Significance and quality
of professional accomplishments (of the applicant)

The fit between required
specifications and the proposal

Or the connection of the
proposal to the Aix-Marseille-Provence area

The relevancy and need of
acquiring the residency at the current stage of the applicant’s career
·
The fellow must not accept
any form of employment as all of the time should be dedicated to the program.

If documents and other
submissions are not in English, the use of a professional translator is
recommended
Benefits:

Eligibility:
Applicants From all over the

(knowing French is useful but not a requirement)
